Limerick City, August 2024

Limerick was a perfect weekend getaway. The Milk Market was great for lunch, a coffee, and a browse, but my favorite part of the trip was exploring King John's castle. While it is an impressively intact structure on its own, it's made all the more enjoyable by great curation illustrating its different parts and what life would have been like within its walls. I would recommend a visit! Here is the limerick I felt it only right to compose on the train home...

There once was a pair of cute wives,
Who went to Limerick for the time of their lives.
They arrived on the train,
And saw sites in some rain,
And took photos for their travel archives.

...I'll see myself out.
