Inisheer

Inisheer/Inis Oírr, Aran Islands, September 2024

Cycling around the island after a ferry crossing from Doolin in the sunshine was such a lovely way to spend the afternoon. The beaches have these incredible landscapes of worn, rounded rock that almost feel like an alien planet. I could have sat and looked at the rock pools and crashing waves all day. The Atlantic coast of Ireland has a particular kind of magic of which I am confident I could never tire.
